On Sunday, the 36th round of matches was played in the Spanish "Primera" championship.
The new Spanish champions, Barcelona football players, hosted the Real Valladolid team at home. Barcelona won an easy victory with a score of 2-1.
In the first half, Catalan football players had complete dominance, not allowing the opponents to create dangerous episodes.
The goals from the Barcelona team started to fall as early as the 21st minute when Pedro defeated the opponents' goalkeeper after a brilliant pass from Xavi. At the end of the half, the score doubled when Marco Valiente scored an own goal.
In the second half, both teams had the opportunity to change the result, but at the end of the match, only Valladolid's eleven managed to score a goal.
In other matches, Valencia's Levante fell to Rayo Vallecano from Madrid, Deportivo from La Coruna easily dealt with Barcelona's Espanyol at home, and Bilbao Athletic narrowly defeated Zaragoza.
