"Paris St. Germain" coach Carlo Ancelotti asks the club leaders to terminate his contract and allow him to move to Real Madrid.

The Italian has received an offer to take over the Spanish team, although the current coach of this team, Jose Mourinho, who still has three years left on his contract, has not officially confirmed his departure yet.

"I asked to be released. I am still waiting for an answer, because I have a contract," said 53-year-old Ancelotti, who has previously worked at clubs like Milan and Chelsea in London.

Earlier, this information was confirmed by PSG sports director Leonardo: "Carlo asked for permission to leave for Real, but a decision has not been made yet. Of course, we would like him to stay, so we are not talking with other coaches for now."

Under Ancelotti's leadership, PSG won the French championship for the first time since 1994.
