The "West Ham" club in London has reached an agreement with "Liverpool" regarding the amount they would like to pay to acquire striker Andy Carroll this summer. It amounts to almost 18 million euros, which is more than twice less than the amount paid by "Liverpool" to "Newcastle" club at the beginning of 2011.
However, it is not clear yet whether the deal will happen, as the final word has to be said by the 24-year-old footballer himself. Last season he was loaned to the capital team, but he is undecided whether he would like to sign a long-term contract.
The future of the striker who scored seven goals in the English championship for Liverpool seems uncertain because he does not figure in the plans of coach Brendan Rodgers.
If an agreement cannot be reached with Carroll, "West Ham" will try to attract the most productive player in the Dutch championship, Wilfried Bony. The "Vitesse" striker scored 21 goals last season.
