By mutual agreement, coach Tony Pulis has stepped down from his duties as the manager of the "Stoke" team.
The 55-year-old specialist has been leading the team since 2006 and secured their promotion to the English Premier League, but after this season, the club's leaders decided to make changes.
Over five seasons in the top league, "Stoke" maintained stable results: finishing in 12th, 11th, 13th, 14th, and 13th places. However, this year Pulis faced dissatisfaction from fans, as the team had been teetering on the edge of relegation for a long time.
Among the candidates to take over the helm at "Stoke" are mentioned such specialists as Mark Hughes, Roberto Di Matteo, Gus Poyet, and Rafael Benitez.
