On Wednesday, the matches of the 13th round of the "SMScredit.lt A League" took place in Lithuania.
In Tauragė, the hosts "Tauras" faced the Vilnius team "Žalgiris". The capital city players secured a crushing victory with a score of 0-7.
The first goal came at the beginning of the match, when "Žalgiris" player Vedran Gercas scored after a counterattack.
In the second half, the goals started pouring in. Mantas Kuklys doubled the score in the 47th minute, while Kamil Bilinskis added two quick goals in the 59th and 60th minutes.
As the match approached its end, the goals kept coming. Takuya Kanai scored during a quick attack, and just four minutes later, Ramūnas Radavičius, who replaced Jakubas Wilkas, sent the sixth goal into the "Tauras" goal.
The final point and the seventh goal were scored in the 90th minute by T.Kanai, who scored a brace. It is worth mentioning that in the 75th minute, the Vilnius team had to play with ten men when Vaidotas Šilėnas received a second yellow card for dissent with the referee.
In another match, the Panevėžys team "Ekranas" faced off against "Banga" from Gargždai. The Lithuanian champions celebrated an easy victory with a score of 4-1.
The goals for the winners were scored by Tadas Markevičius and last season's top scorer Artūras Rimkevičius, who scored a hat-trick. The only goal for the opponents was scored by Gajus Kulbis.
