The future Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho faced another wave of criticism before leaving Spain.
"Without a doubt, the appointment of the Portuguese as the manager of Real Madrid was a huge mistake. He is the worst coach who has led the club for three or more seasons.
Both myself and Real Madrid fans did not like Mourinho's behavior. I don't know what he did in England, but here he tarnished the honorable history of the Madrid club," said former team president Ramon Calderon.
He was also echoed by Barcelona vice president Carles Vilarrubi: "He was a spark for Spanish football and Jose's departure will eliminate the negative atmosphere."
