English football fans will not be particularly pleased when in their own land, at London's Wembley Stadium, the two strongest European football teams from Germany - Dortmund "Borussia" and Munich "Bayern" - clash.

Dortmund "Borussia"
Jurgen Klopp's disciples are not considered favorites by football experts and bettors in the most important match of the season. The "yellow-blacks" have captivated the hearts of spectators in this tournament with their game, but this time they will face the challenge of the all-conquering German champions.

Dortmund's path to the final was paved with challenging trials. The "Borussia" team was destined to play in Group D, which was immediately dubbed the "group of death" after the ceremony. Alongside the Germans in this group were the royal Madrid "Real" team, as well as Amsterdam "Ajax" and the then English champions, the footballers of "Manchester City".

Despite the unfavorable opponents, J. Klopp's disciples managed to finish first in this group. At home, "Borussia" managed to defeat all opponents, and took a point from the teams from Manchester and Madrid. The Dutch team fell under the Germans' feet twice.

In the quarterfinals, Dortmund met the Donetsk "Shakhtar" team, missing their leader Willian. The away game against the Ukrainians ended in a hard-fought 2-2 draw, but at home, the Germans left no hope for their opponents and beat them 3-0.

In the quarterfinals, fans and players alike had to sweat and nervously endure. The German club first flew to Spain to meet the "Malaga" team, but the "yellow-blacks" couldn't achieve anything there, as the match ended in a goalless draw.

It was a close call for "Borussia" to exit the quarterfinals. At the "Signal Iduna Park" stadium, with the score tied at 1-1 in the 82nd minute, the hosts conceded a goal to their own net and found themselves on the brink of disaster. However, in the minutes of additional time, the German representatives not only equalized the score but also won the match impressively.

Almost missing out on the semifinals, J. Klopp's disciples had to face the royal Madrid team again in the group stage. In front of over 80,000 fans at home, the Germans sensationally crushed Jose Mourinho's team 4-1.
