The main contender to become the manager of Liverpool's "Everton" team is reported to be Roberto Martinez, who won the FA Cup with the team "Wigan," according to "The Telegraph."
Following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson from Manchester United, David Moyes was chosen to follow in his footsteps at "Everton," so now the "toffees" are looking for which specialist could take over the reins of the club.
Among the candidates mentioned are "Cardiff City" manager Malky Mackay, "Brighton & Hove Albion" coach Gus Poyet, former Chelsea coach Roberto Di Matteo, and former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is currently coaching "Molde."
Promising "Wigan" manager R. Martinez became the main contender to take over the reins of Liverpool's club when it became clear that his current team would have to remember the peculiarities of the second division of English football.
This season, the Spaniard managed to win the FA Cup with the team, defeating his opponent Roberto Mancini and the English vice-champions in the tournament final.
R. Martinez took over the reins at "Wigan" in June 2009 and managed to save the team from relegation to the Championship for several seasons.
