After it was revealed that Jose Mourinho will leave Real Madrid after the season, the club's leaders started intensively searching for a replacement and Jupp Heynckes may return to Madrid.
As it is known, Bayern Munich will also say goodbye to J. Heynckes. Among the main contenders to take over as Real's coach is PSG's strategist Carlo Ancelotti, but the royal club is interested in the possibility of bringing back the German.
"Jupp would like to return to Madrid. If Florentino Perez invites us, we will likely accept the offer and the coach will work at Real," Heynckes' representative stated.
The 68-year-old coach led Real for one year (1997-1998) and during that short time managed to triumph in the UEFA Champions League.
