"The Special One" returns to England: Jose Mourinho has signed a four-year contract with the London club "Chelsea".

The 50-year-old specialist, who has led Real Madrid for the past three seasons, will temporarily replace the Spanish Rafael Benitez, who has held the position of coach for the last seven months.

Mourinho is not a newcomer to the "Chelsea" team - he worked there from 2004-2007 and during this time not only became a favorite of the fans, but also won two English league titles, raised the team to the top of the English league twice, and won the Football Association cups once. He is well remembered by many current players: Petr Cech, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, John Obi Mikel, John Terry, Michael Essien.

"He was and still is a very popular figure in this club, so everyone eagerly awaits the start of work," said "Chelsea" Chief Executive Ron Gourlay. "I am extremely pleased to welcome Jose back."

After leaving "Chelsea," Mourinho went to Italy, where he won the Champions League, the national championship, and the cup with Inter Milan, before finally receiving an attractive offer from Spain.

However, the Portuguese coach's career with Real Madrid was not as successful. The Spanish club only won the Spanish league and the King's Cup once, but failed to pass the semifinals of the Champions League. In the last matches of the Spanish league, a large part of the Madrid team's fans booed him.
