Dortmund's "Borussia" club defender Jakub Blaszczykowski has signed a new five-year contract with the German team.
Even before the end of the season, the "black and yellow" team lost one of its leaders Mario Gotze, and there is more and more talk about Robert Lewandowski's departure, but the player nicknamed Kuba decided to demonstrate loyalty to the club.
The 27-year-old player arrived in Dortmund in 2007 from the "Wisla" club in Krakow. By signing a new contract, he committed to staying in the team until 2018.
"I feel like this is my second home. When my contract ends, I will be able to remember the decade spent in this team. In modern football, you can never guarantee that you will stay in one team for so long," said J. Blaszczykowski.
