London's "Arsenal" team coach Arsene Wenger promises to go beyond the club's money policy and acquire English striker Wayne Rooney from "Manchester United" this summer.

The 27-year-old England national team and "Manchester United" forward has been dissatisfied with his reduced role in the team for some time, so he would not mind changing teams this summer. This is also contributed by the departure of long-time Manchester club coach Sir Alex Ferguson and the arrival of David Moyes from Liverpool's "Everton."

Last week Arsene Wenger mentioned his interest in Rooney in an interview with Al-Jazeera: "Such a player would fit any team in the world. Who wouldn't want such a footballer? Moyes' first challenge in Manchester is to reduce tension between Rooney and the club."

"Arsenal" will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season, and with Rooney in the front line, they would be a serious competitor in the fight for the Premier League title. The team also includes several England national team players such as Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. All of this may tempt Rooney to consider the offer from the North London club.

However, "Arsenal" would have to make the striker the highest-paid player in the team's history, as Rooney is not planning to reduce his wage. Currently, he is one of the highest-paid English players, earning 240 thousand euros per week.

According to goal.com, "Arsenal" will have more than 110 million euros available this summer for signings after signing new contracts with companies like "Emirates" and "Puma," so they could offer Rooney the desired conditions.

Arsenal has previously stated their intention to acquire a high-level forward this summer, but they have failed to reach an agreement with Fiorentina for Stevan Jovetic due to the high price demanded. Other targets, such as Edin Dzeko from Manchester City and Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund, seem close to agreements with other teams.

"Manchester United" publicly stated that their striker is not for sale, but with only two years left on his contract and Rooney refusing to extend it, his price in the transfer market will drop, possibly leading the "Red Devils" to change their opinion.
