Jose Mourinho, who coached Real Madrid for three seasons, revealed his attitude towards the most expensive player of the Spanish vice-champion club Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recently, J. Mourinho, who became the coach of Chelsea once again in London, did not hesitate to answer the question about why his relationship with the leader of Real became tense at the end of the season during an interview for Spanish television.
"I had one problem with him - very simple, but very important. It was related to the coach's criticism of the players in a tactical aspect in an effort to improve the game. However, in such cases, he did not accept it probably because he thinks he knows everything and the coach cannot help him improve even more," said Cristiano Ronaldo.
Last season, J. Mourinho, who won nothing with Real, claimed that the entire team's game revolved around C. Ronaldo, so the best conditions were created for him.
"Cristiano had three fantastic seasons with me. I don't know if they were the best in his career, because he had fantastic moments at Manchester United too. I think we created perfect conditions for him tactically in the club and he was able to use his potential and strive for records and goals," said J. Mourinho.
By the way, C. Ronaldo has previously stated that he will not extend his contract with Real until 2015. His former club Manchester United is already making plans on how to attract the forward, but the coach of the Madrid team, Florentino Perez, claims that C. Ronaldo is invaluable and hopes that the footballer will wear Real's shirt for a long time.
