Munich "Bayern" striker Mario Gomez's agent announced that his client will leave the ranks of the German champions this summer.
This season, the German national team member mostly found himself on the bench in Bavarian ranks, as Mario Mandzukic was usually included in the starting lineup.
Despite his substitute role, M. Gomez managed to score 19 goals in 32 matches played.
"Mario has made a decision. He wants to leave the 'Bayern' club because he feels no longer needed here, so we will look for a new team," said the footballer's agent Uli Ferber.
The 27-year-old striker will most likely move to Italy, where Italian clubs "Napoli" and "Fiorentina" are interested in the services of the German.
