On Thursday for the sixth time this year, in the International Football Federation Associations (FIFA) world team ranking, the Lithuanian national team with 330 points per month regained six positions: rising from 111th place to 105th.

Over the four weeks, the Lithuanian team increased their total by fourteen points.

In the rankings, Lithuania is behind three out of five opponents from the 2014 World Cup European zone qualifying group. Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 15th place from 21st (1008 points), Greece dropped to 16th from 14th (1006 points), and Slovakia fell to 56th from 54th (565 points).

Lithuania's team surpassed Latvia's team, which dropped to 119th from 110th (287 points), and Liechtenstein's team, which is now in 158th place from 148th (145 points).

The highest-ranked team among the Baltic states is Estonia's national team with 408 points, rising from 92nd place to 89th, which they share with Armenia.

The top spot in the FIFA rankings is still held by the reigning planet and European champions, Spain, with 1614 points, followed by the World Cup bronze medalists, Germany, and Argentina in third.

The European Vice-Champion, Italy's team, remains in 8th place, while the 2014 World Cup host, Brazil's team, is in 22nd place.
