Arsenal" club from London is reportedly seeking to lure the leader of Liverpool's "Everton" club, Maroune Fellaini, according to "Goal.com".

According to the report, M. Fellaini has a specified release clause of 22 million pounds in his contract, which the leaders of the London team are prepared to spend.

Last summer, after Alex Song left the "Arsenal" team, there was a gap in the midfield, so now they are looking for someone who could strengthen this position.

In addition to the Belgian, the "gunners" are also interested in forwards Stevan Jovetic and Wayne Rooney, defender Ashley Williams, and goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

In his interview on Thursday, "Arsenal" executive director Ivan Gazidis, when asked if they could afford to acquire W. Rooney for more than 20 million and pay him a weekly salary of 200 thousand, said: "Of course, we can spend even more".

"We will buy players that the coach Wenger believes in. The player's price is not really important to him, he is more interested in what the footballer can do on the field," Gazidis said.
