Carlo Ancelotti is the ideal candidate to coach Madrid's "Real", club president Florentino Perez claims.
The Spanish team is looking for a new strategist after terminating the contract with Portuguese Jose Mourinho. Ancelotti is immediately seen as the favorite, although he has a valid contract with "Paris St.Germain".
The Italian asked PSG management a few weeks ago to allow him to move to another club, but negotiations have not yet concluded.
"Ancelotti is perfect for us," Perez said. "He is an amazing coach that I have been thinking about for a while. Besides, Ancelotti is currently working with a club with whom we have good relations. We will see how the issue of his contract with PSG will be resolved."
Perez added that legendary Frenchman Zinedine Zidane could work in the newly formed coaching staff.
