"Milan" club star Stephan El Shaarawy has attracted significant interest from "Manchester City", but the player himself says he will remain with the Italian team.
In the 2012-2013 season, the 20-year-old footballer became one of the biggest discoveries of the "Serie A" championship and drew attention from other European giants.
"If 'Man City' wants to buy me, I am flattered, but I want to stay here. I don't think I will leave Milan. I have always felt that the club believes in me. I have to thank them for breaking into the national team," El Shaarawy told the newspaper "La Repubblica."
"Milan" club director Adriano Galliani stated that this forward is "untouchable" and will not be sold. Former "Rossoneri" player Filippo Inzaghi advised him to stay with the team.
El Shaarawy signed a new contract earlier this season, which should keep him at "Milan" until 2018.
