On Monday evening, international friendly matches of national teams were played at the Karužo City stadium.
The football players of the Croatian and Portuguese national teams tested their strengths against each other. The Paulo Bento-led team secured a minimal victory with a score of 0-1.
The only goal that determined the victory was scored in the 36th minute by the star of Real Madrid club, Cristiano Ronaldo, with a decisive assist from forward Silvestre Valera.
In the second half, there were no shortage of dangerous moments for both teams, but after the final whistle blew – the victory was announced for the Portuguese.
It is worth mentioning that 16-year-old Alen Halilović was among the ranks of the Croatian national team, who appeared on the field after a substitution.
