In January, goalkeeper Diego Lopez, who arrived at Real Madrid, could leave Spain and move to Aston Villa in the near future.
The Royal club acquired the former goalkeeper when Iker Casillas got injured, but even after recovering from the injury, the Real captain remained on the bench because D. Lopez showed excellent form.
Former Los Blancos coach Jose Mourinho previously stated that D. Lopez is currently better than I. Casillas, but next season the 31-year-old Spaniard is likely to remain as I. Casillas' understudy.
According to the English press, Aston Villa will offer around 5 million euros for the former Sevilla goalkeeper.
