Milan's "Inter" club veteran Javier Zanetti has decided to postpone the end of his career and stay with the team for at least one more season.
The old footballer's contract was valid until this summer, but the Argentine, who is currently recovering from an Achilles tendon injury, decided to extend the contract.
"First of all, I would like to thank everyone at the club for believing in me. We discussed how long I would be unable to play due to the injury and decided to extend the contract," said J. Zanetti.
The footballer, who has become a legend of the team, joined the "Inter" team in 1995 and has worn the "Nerazzurri" shirt in more than 800 official matches since then.
