On Thursday evening, Liverpool announced the acquisition of forward Iago Aspas.
After weeks of speculation that the player, who defended the colors of Celta Vigo, will wear the Liverpool team's jersey, it has been confirmed that the 25-year-old Spaniard will be Brendan Rodgers' second signing this summer.
The forward started playing for the main Celta Vigo team in 2008 and has since scored 50 goals in 152 matches. Before that, the player defended the same club's reserves.
In the 2012-2013 season, the player played a total of 37 matches and scored 6 times.
According to unofficial reports, Liverpool will pay around 7 million pounds sterling for this Spaniard.
