The most powerful Italian club announced its second summer purchase.

The Turin-based club "Juventus" officially announced that they have acquired defender Federico Peluso from Bergamo's "Atalanta" team for 4.8 million euros.

The 28-year-old footballer, who represented the "Juventus" team on loan for the second part of the previous season, played a total of 30 matches for the "Bianconerri".

The experienced defender made a positive impression on the head coach of the team, Antonio Conte, so it was decided to exercise the option to buy the player's contract as stipulated in the loan agreement.

It is stated on the Italian champions' website that the sum of 4.8 million euros will be paid to "Atalanta" over two years, and F. Peluso has signed a contract valid until June 30, 2017.

F. Peluso became the second player to strengthen the ranks of the Turin team. Earlier, "Juventus" had signed a contract with Spanish national team striker Fernando Llorente, who became a free agent this summer.
