On Tuesday evening, the final of the European Under-21 Championship was played in Israel.

In the most important match of the tournament, representatives of Spain and Italy met, just like in last year's men's championship.

The match started at a fast pace, and already in the 6th minute the first goal of the match was scored. Spain was brought ahead by team captain Thiago Alcantara.

Spain's football players did not have much time to celebrate this goal, as Italian forward Ciro Immobile equalized the score in the 10th minute.

Nevertheless, in the second half of the match, the same Thiago returned the lead to his compatriots and soon converted a penalty kick, completing his "hat-trick".

In the second half of the match, Spaniards continued to prove their superiority.

In the 66th minute of the match, another penalty kick was awarded to Italy, which this time was successfully taken by the promising Isco.

About 10 minutes before the end of the match, "Liverpool" forward Fabio Borini gave some hope to the Italians by scoring a long-range shot past goalkeeper David De Gea.

However, the Spaniards did not let victory slip from their hands and triumphed in this match and the entire tournament.
