The London club "West Ham United" confirmed the acquisition of the forward Andy Carroll.

The tall footballer played for the capital team on loan last season, but still belonged to the "Liverpool" team.

The "Reds" acquired this player in the final moments of the transfer window in 2011 and paid 35 million euros for him.

The Englishman was supposed to replace the departing Fernando Torres to "Chelsea", for whom the "Liverpool" team received over 50 million euros.

However, the player did not fit in with the "Liverpool" team and was loaned to "West Ham". From now on, he becomes a full member of this team.

The transfer fee is not disclosed, but unofficially "Liverpool" received about 15 million pounds sterling for him, and the striker with the "hammers" signed a six-year contract.
