Italian national team coach Cesare Prandelli was dissatisfied with his players' performance in the Confederations Cup match against the Japanese.
"We rightfully won against Mexico, but today we looked like we weren't ourselves. At the beginning of the match, my players didn't understand what needed to be done on the field," the strategist consoled himself.
"It's very difficult to play in such climate conditions - 80 percent humidity and scorching heat.
"Now we will have to regroup for the last group stage match against Brazil," Prandelli concluded.
"We didn't expect the Japanese to be so strong, although we knew they had good players. K. Honda looked fantastic, he could play in any team in the world, of course, everyone knows S. Kagawa as well," said Italian defender A. Barzagli.
