This meeting, which took place half a week ago, was interrupted during the break when it was revealed that one of the "Lanus" fans died in a clash with the police and another was seriously injured. "Estudiantes" led 2:0 after the first half.

After this match, the team of "Newell's Old Boys", leading in the tournament with twenty teams, has 38 points and leads the closest rivals - "Lanus" and "River Plate" clubs by six points.
