Olandas Ruud Gullit has decided to leave the Rotterdam club "Feyenoord," which he led for less than a year.
"Feyenoord" won their last match of the Dutch championship against "ADO den Haag" 6-3 and finished in fourth place, collecting 25 points less than the champions crowned by Eindhoven's "PSV" footballers.
The club's management gathered at a meeting on Monday to discuss the future of "Feyenoord," and Ruud Gullit, along with his assistant, announced his decision to leave the Rotterdam club.
The former famous player of the Dutch national team and "AC Milan" cited the club's lack of desire to improve as the reason for his decision. R.Gullit has recently mentioned several times that "Feyenoord" lacks high-level players.
It is worth noting that during Sunday's match against "ADO den Haag," fans chanted for R.Gullit to "leave the club along with his trash."
During his coaching career of 42 years, R.Gullit has managed London's "Chelsea" and "Newcastle United" clubs.
This season, "Feyenoord" could not boast of a good defense, but their offense did not disappoint: the Rotterdam club finished the season as the club with the most goals scored.
