C. Tevez: I always dreamt of playing in Italy © EuroFootball.com

Last Wednesday, Carlos Tevez, who became a player of Turin's Juventus, hopes to strengthen the team of Italian champions with his experience and exceptional talent.

The Italians paid 9 million euros for the former "Manchester City" attack leader, which will be paid over two years.

On Thursday afternoon, C. Tevez was officially introduced to the press and willingly answered journalists' questions.

The first question for the Argentine national team forward was why the 29-year-old footballer, who is highly sought after in the player market, chose Juventus club.

"I chose Juventus because I have always dreamed of playing in Italy. 'Bianconeri' was the only club that sincerely wanted to attract me. Italian football is one of the most complex and beautiful in the world," the forward assured.

"I want to thank Juventus for their efforts to sign a contract with me and also thank the 'city' for the years we spent together. Juventus is a great club, and that was the main reason I came here."

"I made this decision quite a long time ago. In 2011, Juventus wanted to acquire me. After talking to their representatives, I understood that I would not make a mistake becoming a part of this club."

During the press conference, Juventus General Director Giuseppe Marotta mentioned that C. Tevez wanted to wear number 10 jerseys, which were previously worn by club legends Omar Sivori, Michel Platini, Roberto Baggio, and Alessandro Del Piero.

Turin club fans have mixed feelings about this, but the Argentine himself assured that he understands the significance of his decision.

"The number ten is a huge responsibility. But this is not the first time I have had the honor of wearing this number after legendary players. In Boca Juniors, I wore number 10 jerseys that previously belonged to Diego Maradona."

"I have respect for these jerseys and I am ready to take on a new challenge. I have immense respect for the Juventus legend and symbol Alessandro Del Piero."

The versatile Argentine also admitted that he does not yet know what role Juventus' victorious blacksmith Antonio Conte will assign to him on the field.

"Conte will decide who will be my partner in attack and where exactly I will play. I haven't spoken to him yet. I can bring more experience and quality to this team and promise the fans that I will give my all in the fight for victory," Tevez said.
