On Thursday, Marseille's "Olympique" team officially signed the country's winger Dimitris Payet, who arrived from the "Lille" club.
This offseason, the "Olympique" team wanted to strengthen the winger position. The club was also interested in the "Rennes" winger Romain Alessandrini.
Dimitris Payet joined "Lille" in the summer of 2011. The footballer, who moved from "Saint-Etienne", cost the reigning French champions 9 million euros.
The 26-year-old Frenchman played for the team from Lille for two seasons. In the last season, he became a true leader for his team - scoring 12 goals and providing 18 assists in 38 matches.
Marseille's "Olympique" club, reportedly, paid 10 million euros for him.
