On Monday it was reported that Frederic Antonettis will be coaching the club in the next season.
F. Antonettis, who was dismissed from his position as head coach of St. Etienne last year after helping the club return to Ligue 1 after a long break, is expected to sign a contract with the French resort club in the near future.
"The only remaining question is the terms of the contract," said a club representative to the press on Monday.
After German coach Gernot Rohr was dismissed from his coaching duties last month, Nice was temporarily led by Gerard Buscheras.
The coaching changes this summer should not affect Lithuanian Edgaras Jankauskas, as his loan agreement with Nice will end soon and the Lithuanian will return to Porto.
