The ranks of the "Swans" were supplemented by 21-year-old center-back Jordi Amat from Barcelona's "Espanyol" club, who became the second purchase of the Welsh team this summer.
The young footballer signed a four-year contract with the Capital One Trophy winners, and almost 3 million euros were transferred to the "Espanyol" account.
Last season, J. Amat spent the season on loan at "Rayo Vallecano" club. In the team coached by Paco Jemez, he appeared in 27 matches.
This summer, another player from the Spanish "La Liga" - Jose Canas from "Real Betis", strengthened the "Swansea" team.
Last season, M. Laudrup followed a similar transfer policy: before the 2012-2013 season, three players came from Spain to Wales, including one of the biggest discoveries in the Premier League, forward Michu.
There are also reports in the media that "Swansea City" club should be strengthened by forward Wilfried Bony from the "Vitesse" club, for whom the "Swans" should pay 12 million euros.
