Dortmund's "Borussia" team officially acquired "Saint-Etienne" club forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 24-year-old footballer agreed to a five-year contract with the UEFA Champions League finalists.
After this transfer, there will likely be more talks about the future of forward Robert Lewandowski. He was being pursued by Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
The transfer fee is not disclosed, but media sources speculate that it could be around 15 million euros.
Last season, Aubameyang scored 19 goals and made 14 assists in 37 matches in the French Ligue 1, with Saint-Etienne finishing in fifth place.
