On Thursday, the qualifying tournament matches of the Europa League continue, with Pakruojis "Kruoja", Marijampolė's "Sūduva", and Vilnius' "Žalgiris" all starting their battles.

"Sūduva", supported by their fans, began their first match against Turnovo's "Chorizont". The home team, coached by Darius Gvildys, managed to snatch a draw in a high-scoring match.

The first half started better for the hosts in Marijampolė, who took the lead in the 23rd minute after Petar Basič's goal.

However, the opponents' response was not long in coming - just seven minutes later, "Chorizont" striker Zoran Baldovaljev equalized the score.

At the end of the first half, "Sūduva" could not resist the team from Makedonija, and in the 45th minute, a penalty kick was awarded to the Marijampolians, which Dejan Blazeyski successfully converted.

In the second half, the team defending Lithuania's honor did not give up, and at the end of the match, Nerijus Valskis managed to secure a draw at home.

The return match in Makedonija will be played on July 11th.
