The new "Manchester United" coach David Moyes confirmed that this summer he will definitely not leave Wayne Rooney the club.
The future of the striker in the "Red Devils" team has been unclear for some time and the Englishman has been linked with London teams - "Chelsea" and "Arsenal".
As reported, D.Moyes and W.Rooney had a meeting on Tuesday and discussed the latter's future in Manchester. The conversation was successful and both parties reached an agreement.
"Rooney is not for sale. He will stay in the "Man Utd" club, because he is a great footballer and he is needed in our team," the coach said.
"We had a successful conversation together. I believe that next season Wayne's form will be even better and the striker will be able to score more goals," added D.Moyes.
Last season, W.Rooney scored 16 goals in 36 matches played.
