Despite Manchester United coach David Moyes' statement that striker Wayne Rooney will stay at the club, London's Chelsea continues to make plans to attract the English national team player.
It is reported that the "Blues" have offered the 27-year-old player an impressive contract and promise to pay him a total of 60 million pounds sterling over five years.
This means that W. Rooney would earn 240,000 pounds sterling per week.
If the striker agrees to the contract terms, Manchester United will be offered a compensation of 30 million pounds sterling.
