Vilnius team "Žalgiris" will play the most important match of this season in Ireland on Thursday.

The Žalgiris players prepared for the return leg of the first qualifying round of the Europa League against "Saint Patrick's Athletic" team in Dublin since Wednesday.

Last week's first leg match in Vilnius ended in a 2:2 draw.

The decisive battle will take place at 21:45 Lithuanian time at the "Richmond Park" stadium, which accommodates just over 5 thousand spectators. However, in international tournaments this number is reduced to 3 thousand, as there are approximately that many seats installed.

On Wednesday, the residents of Vilnius tested the quality of the field and focused all their attention on the crucial match, which, according to the Žalgiris players, is essential to win in order to advance to the second qualifying round.

"We are preparing for the match very seriously. We will give it our all, so it will not be easy for our opponents to play against us. We know what our opponents are capable of. We have analyzed their weaknesses and will try to take advantage of them," said Artūras Žulpa, defender of the VMFD "Žalgiris" team, on the eve of the match.

"The match should be similar to the one we saw in Vilnius. Of course, this time we expect a different result. We will see how the opponents' game will change in front of their own fans. If we want to achieve victory, we must be aggressive and confident in our abilities," said defender Luka Peričius.
