Madrid's "Real" president Florentino Perez presented the team's new acquisition Asier Illarramendi to journalists, who in total cost about 32 million euros.
F. Perez was delighted with the new "Real" player and assured that this summer they will seek to implement Carlo Ancelotti's vision and A. Illarramendi will not be the last purchase this off-season.
"We will continue to actively work and strive to fulfill Ancelotti's wishes," said F. Perez. "We are convinced that we already have a great team composition, but this is certainly not the last purchase."
The "White" president did not spare praise for the midfielder: "Today a fantastic player arrived in Madrid. He is the future pearl of the club, who will be especially useful in the upcoming season."
The former Real Sociedad defender will now wear the jersey of "Real" with the number 24.
