Josep Guardiola couldn't handle it. The former coach of "Barcelona" parted ways with the Catalan club's president Sandro Rosell, who stated that J. Guardiola never visited Tito Vilanova in New York, where he was undergoing cancer treatment.

Having taken over the reins of Munich's "Bayern" this summer, J. Guardiola accused the "Barcelona" club of not honoring an agreement and not leaving him in peace during his rest in the USA.

The 42-year-old Spaniard also expressed anger that S. Rosell used the illness of former assistant T. Vilanova (current coach of "Barcelona") to attack him.

"I said that I was leaving far away and asked not to talk about me, to leave me in peace, but they did not keep their word," Guardiola told "Lake Garda". "I worked for the 'Barcelona' club and then decided to leave. I wish them all the success because the success of the Catalan club is my success. I don't need to tell you what I feel about the 'Barcelona' club."

In Guardiola's opinion, the leaders of the "Barcelona" club often cross the line.

"Too many things happened that crossed the line. I will never forget that they used Tito's illness to harm me. What they said was lies. We met once. We didn't see each other again, not because of my fault, but because it was impossible," Guardiola expressed his frustration. "If I said something untrue, come and tell me. But it should be S. Rosell and the board, not intermediaries or club messengers."
