Manchester City players traveled to South Africa, where they met with the "Supersport United" team.

The non-main English team had to admit the opponents' superiority with a score of 0 - 2, so coach Manuel Pellegrini got his first headache.

The goals for the victorious united team were scored by Mame Niang (56 min.) and Kermit Erasmus (82 min.).
