Cesc Fabregas is not interested in the possibility of leaving the team, says "Barcelona" coach Tito Vilanova.
English champions looking to strengthen the midfield offered 30 million for the experienced 26-year-old midfielder on Monday, but even the financially attractive option, it seems, did not tempt the footballer.
"I know that Cesc has at least two offers from other teams, but we talked and he assured that he wants to stay," said Vilanova. "Fabregas is not even considering the option of leaving. He knows that there is a big competition in Barcelona, but he wants to become an even more important player in the team. I am calm."
It is believed that the second offer "Barcelona" could have received from another English team, London's "Arsenal", where Fabregas spent several years at the beginning of his career.
"Man Utd" has long been interested in another "Barcelona" midfielder Thiago Alcantara, but he signed a contract with Munich's "Bayern" a few days ago.
Last season, Fabregas scored 11 goals and made as many assists in 32 national championship matches.
