"Manchester United" club rejected London's "Chelsea" team's offer for forward Wayne Rooney.

On Wednesday, reports surfaced in the media that Jose Mourinho wants to see the "Red Devils" forward in his team and is offering £10 million and Juan Mata or David Luiz in exchange.

However, later the "Chelsea" club itself confirmed that they made an offer to the Manchester team, but denied all rumors about their players being involved in the deal.

Although the exact amount that the "aristocrats" offered to the "Manchester United" club is unknown, it is believed to be around £20 million.

It is said that W. Rooney himself does not want to stay in the "Red Devils" ranks and would be open to such a career move.

Last season, the forward played 27 matches in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals and making 10 assists.

This summer, "Chelsea" club has already acquired three players: forward Andre Schuerrle from "Bayer," midfielder Marco van Ginkel from "Vitesse," and goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer from the "Fulham" team.
