Madrid's "Real" wants to extend the contract with midfielder Mesut Ozil, but the football player will not rush to do so.
The young German who joined the royal club in the summer of 2010 became a key player in the team. 24-year-old M. Ozil feels great in Madrid, but currently does not see any reason to extend the contract.
"I am pleased that Madrid's "Real" wants to extend the contract with me," the midfielder said. "I am happy because I feel the club's trust in me."
"However, at the moment, I do not see the need to extend the contract already. I hope to continue to be an important player in the team, but you never know what the future holds, so I will wait," Ozil added.
The footballer's agent and father recently met with representatives of "Real" and inquired about the possibility of signing a new contract until 2019.
