On Thursday evening, the Florence club "Fiorentina" officially announced the sale of Montenegro national team forward Stevan Jovetić.

The talks about the football player leaving the team had already started in the winter. At the beginning of summer, the forward was linked with London's "Arsenal," later with "Chelsea" and "Real" clubs, but he will continue his career at "Manchester City."

This week, "Manchester City" also added another forward to the team - Alvaro Negredo from the "Sevilla" club. He was already the second player to exchange the Sevilla team for a club owned by a sheikh. He joined defender Jesus Navas. "Citizens" paid 25 million euros for A. Negredo.

The transfer fee for S. Jovetić is still unknown, but the press mentions a sum of 26 million euros.

The Montenegrin started his career at the Serbian Belgrade club "Partizan," and in 2008 moved to play for the Florence team for 8 million euros.

Since then, he has become one of the main pillars of the team's victories and has played 134 games and scored 40 goals in the ranks of "Fiorentina."

The player feels most comfortable in the "forward" position, but can also play on the wing and in the attacking midfield.

This is already the fourth acquisition of the "Man City" team this summer. Along with the mentioned A. Negredo and J. Navas, and S. Jovetić, the next season will see midfielder Fernandinho, who moved from Donetsk's "Shakhtar" team, in action.

In total, "Citizens" have spent about 110 million euros this summer.

Last weekend, "Fiorentina" already bought a replacement for their leader - they added Mario Gomez from Bayern for 16 million euros.
