Newcastle already tried to buy Miguel last summer, but they failed to reach an agreement with the player and his team - Benfica.
According to the Portuguese press, Madrid has also started to show active interest in the Portuguese national team player and have sent their scouts to watch the 25-year-old player in action against Boavista.
The player's agent Jean Musampa insisted that there is a growing interest in his client. "I know that many European teams are interested in Miguel. We will wait and see what happens if Benfica receives concrete offers," Musampa said.
