London's "Chelsea" officially announced that they have acquired 18-year-old footballer Cristian Cuevas from the "O'Higgins" club.
According to reports, the "Blues" team has signed a contract with the versatile Chilean player until 2018.
C.Cuevas can play both left-back and winger positions. The footballer made his debut in the U-20 World Cup this summer.
The Chilean made his debut for the main "O'Higgins" team in 2011. In 10 matches, the 18-year-old failed to make an impact.
C.Cuevas became Chelsea's fourth signing this summer. Earlier, the team added Andre Schurrle, Marco van Ginkel, and Mark Schwarzer to their squad.
