Madrid's "Real" president Florentino Perez revealed that he promised not to lure any players from the Paris "Saint Germain" club.
According to the press, such a condition was set by the "Ligue 1" champions when they allowed coach Carlo Ancelotti to leave without a ransom, who now manages the "Real" team.
"We have no contacts with any PSG players. Not with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, not with Marco Verratti, not with others. If after a year, two, or even later we decide to sign one of their players, I will first have to call Nasser Al-Khelaifi and ask for his permission," Perez said.
The leader assured that "Real" has not received any offers for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo's contract so far.
"He is the best football player on the planet and we believe in him. I can assure you that he will finish his career here," said the president of the Madrid team."
