London's "Chelsea" continues to intensively pursue the possibility of buying out the contract of "Manchester United" forward Wayne Rooney, even though their first offer was rejected.
The "Blues" manager Jose Mourinho stated that the "Premier" League champions' coach David Moyes should make a decision quickly regarding the player's position in the club, as otherwise the team's atmosphere may suffer.
"It depends on the coach's philosophy. I believe the sooner you form the squad, the better," said the Portuguese.
"But Moyes is also right. The transfer market will be open until September 2nd and most teams will wait until the last moment to make their final decision.
"In this case, we ("Chelsea" - author's note) are safe because we will not sell players and my students will not be influenced by such stories. However, other clubs will feel the pressure, as the final squad is uncertain.
"I don't play 'mind games', I haven't said anything bad about D. Moyes," reassured the Portuguese.
