On Saturday, the 11th round of the Lithuanian "A Lyga" was notable for all five teams in the top half of the table failing to secure a victory - "Ekranas" and "Kaunas" played to a draw, "Vėtra" lost to "Žalgiris", and the match between "Atlanto" and "Šilutės" ended in a tie.

"Ekranas" met with "Sūduva" led by A.Gabris in Marijampolė. Although there were no goals scored in the first half, T.Radzinevičius put Marijampolians ahead in the middle of the second half, and M.Uselis even managed to double the lead in the 75th minute.

However, a penalty was awarded to "Sūduva" soon after, which was converted by the team's captain M.Savėnas. With two minutes left in the match, M.Savėnas evened the score, and "Ekranas" managed to escape defeat.

"Kaunas" once again failed to beat "Vilnius" in their own stadium, maintaining an eight-point lead over "Ekranas" after losing to them in the previous round.

Vilnius "Žalgiris" won the derby in the capital and ended a three-game winless streak by beating "Vėtra" at home with a minimal advantage. M.Bezykornovas scored the winning goal for Žalgiris with a penalty kick.

"Atlantas" tied with "Vėtra" in points after their goalless draw, while the match between the two seaside teams "Šilutė" and "Šilutė" ended without any goals. Meanwhile, "Šiauliai" dominated their game against the underdog "Nevėžis" and crushed them with a score of 4-0.
