The opponents didn't have to wait long for a response - just two minutes later, forward Yassine Benzia equalized with a great opportunity created by Corentin Jean. In the second half, the game remained unchanged on the field, although Spain had control of the ball, the French managed to respond with dangerous attacks towards Ruben Blanco's goal. No more goals were scored and the teams headed into extra time. The decisive moment came in the 105th minute when A.Konte defeated the Spanish goalkeeper with a weak shot.
